• Description:
• The subject of performance of this contract is described in more detail in Appendix No. 1 - "Description of the subject of performance". This public contract (VZ) will be implemented as part of the SLIM Project (Sustainable Landscape through Integrated Management), which is implemented from October 2023 to September 2027 by the Czech Development Agency and co-financed by the European Union. Its aim is to implement an integrated landscape management (ILM) approach and contribute to increasing the resilience of ecosystems and preserving biodiversity in Zambia using freely accessible satellite data in areas such as forestry, agriculture, water management or environmental protection, including the prediction and mitigation of the devastating effects of natural disasters. This order will specifically contribute to the fulfillment of SLIM project activity No. 2.2.1. entitled “Provision of adequate technological capacities, tools, data access and geospatial data storage infrastructure for the crucial data domains". The subject of this RFP is a comprehensive software solution for a total of 12 beneficiaries of the SLIM project in Zambia, while it is a combination of a commercial solution and its configuration and an open-source solution that will need to be implemented and programmed according to the requirements of one of the Zambian beneficiaries.
