- The scope of the present procurement procedure is the provision of support to EUSPA for Cassini hackathons (lot 1) and Cassini matchmaking (lot 2). Cassini is the European Commission's initiative to support entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs in the space industry, including New Space, during 2021-2027. Cassini hackathons are a major opportunity to develop ideas for a digital application building on space data, including satellite images and positioning services. The Cassini initiative includes also networking opportunities based on a series of Cassini matchmaking events for start-ups and SMEs.
