Description:
The subject of this public contract is the contractor's obligation to carry out construction work for the client consisting mainly, but not exclusively, of repairing the southern part of the balustrade, the facade of the Great South Tower, the southern and western facades of the Chapter Library and Archive in the exterior of the Cathedral of St. Welcome.
The works mainly consist of nhowever, exclusively in the gentle cleaning of masonry with pressurized water and manual cleaning, gentle cutting out of mortar from old and loose joints in stone masonry, filling joints in masonry with mortar, strengthening highly damaged stone, modeling missing parts in walls with putty, retouching local repairs in wallsoh, removal of inappropriate seals and stone legends, in biocidal treatment, disassembly, fabrication and installation of 8 pieces of tracery railings according to the original, removal of defective lead joints, addition of lead joints, filling of joints in profiled elements of the balustrade with lead, in disassembly, fabrication and installation of 1 piecerailing post according to the original, injecting cracks, repairing 3 pieces of coats of arms, cleaning, strengthening and preserving them, repairing stained glass windows, repairing iron window reinforcements, cleaning and painting them, making and installing stone inserts, static securing of stone elements, making castings consoles orof a similar element, making casts of stone marks and traces of stonework, in dismantling and refitting the copper gutter behind the balustrade, checking the lead plating of the pocket in the tracery of the balustrade, in lead plating, repairing the sculptural elements of the gargoyles, repairing and conserving the statue of the Virgin Mary andfinal hydrophobization.
