• Description:
• The subject of the performance of the public contract is the acquisition of 2 new high-performance Full Flash Array data storage units, which will serve as Tier 0 storage, in the SOK and NPP data centers within the existing infrastructure of the contracting authority. The desired solution must be based exclusively on SSD / NVMe technology, with the aim of ensuring very low latency, high IOPS performance and fast response when accessing data for the operation of critical application systems. By purchasing this performance, the contracting authority responds to dynamically growing demands on the performance of data storage, especially on the part of application systems that are part of the state's critical infrastructure (for example, database systems, integration platforms and real-time analytical tools). The existing primary data store is built on of the Hitachi VSP system, which continues to operate and fulfill its role for less demanding application data. However, considering its hybrid nature and the dominance of rotating discs, it no longer provides the necessary performance for current and future application requirements of the highest priorities. The client's intention is not to replace the existing storage system, but to supplement it with a dedicated performance layer (Tier 0), which will enable effective separation of application layers according to performance and response requirements.
