Description:
The former site of the ELTON plant is affected by historical contamination, which is caused by accidental releases of chlorinated hydrocarbons - tetrachloroethene (PCE) and partly trichloroethene (TCE). stage of remediation with a focus onelimination of secondary sources of contamination that have the potential to release primary pollutants into the groundwater collector. As part of this public contract for services, it is II. stage of the remedial works, which solves the removal of pollution of underground waters contaminated with tetrachlorethylene (PCE) and subsidiaryof dehalogenation products with dichloroethene (DCE) and vinyl chloride (VC). First, the remediation of the unsaturated zone will be carried out by relieving the secondary focus of PCE contamination, and then the remediation of the saturated zone will be carried out using advanced remediation methods ISCO (application of PDS) and ISCR (application of nanoFe intensified geoelectricity), post-remediation monitoring is part of the performance.
