- The subject of the public contract is the collection of current data on the distribution and quality of natural biotopes, which takes place in the form of a professional botanical field investigation. The data is submitted in the Wanas software by drawing individual map segments and writing down a number of attributes according to observations at the site (for more see mandatory mmethodological documents that are attached to the tender documentation).
The output is a digitized updated habitat mapping layer that allows visualization and other calculations regarding habitat and habitat status. The obligation to monitor the state of natural habitats is imposed on nature protection authorities by the provisions of the directivese No. 92/43/EEC, on the protection of natural habitats, wild animals and wild plants. Another obligation arising from this directive is the submission of evaluation reports on the state of natural habitats to the European Commission at regular six-year intervals.
Updated habitat mapping layerit represents the main data base for their creation.
The public contract is issued to implement one part of the cycle of updating the biotope mapping layer of the Czech Republic, which will enable the fulfillment of the needs of the AOPK of the Czech Republic to ensure the monitoring of the state of natural habitats in a given calendar year. The work will be the basis for the Integr solutionovaneho projektu LIFE Jedna pΕiroda (LIFE17 IPE/CZ/000005 LIFE-IP: N2K Revisited).
