• Modernization of the Karolínka drinking water treatment plant The subject of the public contract is the construction of the "Modernization of the Karolínka drinking water treatment plant" The subject of the mentioned project is the modernization of flocculation, filtration and chemical management facilities, as well as the provision of modern facilities control and regulation and other related technologies. The main point of the filtration modernization is the replacement of the existing drainage system with an intermediate floor and overflow heads for a new stainless steel drainage system without an intermediate floor. Another key element is the change in operational mode from filtration with a constant filtration rate to filtration with a variable (decreasing) apparent rate and common outflow regulation. Technical and technological description of individual components of the subject of the awarded public contract, including project documentation a the statement of measurements forms an attachment to the tender documentation. The exact technological procedure is also part of the project documentation and must be carried out according to the required procedures set out in the project documentation. We draw your attention to the technical procedure during implementation flocculation, when it is necessary to ensure the operation of the water treatment plant during the entire period of work. However, it is necessary to shut down the flocculation tank for a limited time. During the downtime, the flocculation process will only take place in the connecting pipe DN800 in the section between the flocculation inlet and inflow to filtration. The flocculation process, specifically the phase of slow mixing and floc formation, will thus be significantly negatively affected.
