Natural flood control measures on the river Desna in the section km 12,088 - 14,231
The subject of the implementation of the public works contract is construction work consisting in the implementation of flood control measures on the river Desna in km 12,088-14,231. It involves the construction of flood protection measures in a length of 2.143 km located on both banks of the riverDesne incl. related construction works. In the section of wide floodplains, the intention is to leave as many of these areas as possible for natural flood spills. Access to the watercourse is ensured by dike crossings and descents to the berm and directly to the Desna bed. Several b are also proposed as part of the constructiongenera. Flood protection structures have the character of earth dams or, in case of lack of space, reinforced concrete walls. The construction also includes the reconstruction of the road bridge over the river Desna, the reconstruction of the weir, the construction of a footbridge over the river, the reconstruction of roads and sidewalks, and the relocation of utility networks.
