Description:
The subject of the public order is a high-speed camera with high efficiency for detecting individual photons. The camera will enable the study of the interaction of light with 40Ca or 138Ba barium ions captured in an ion trap. The camera will be used to detect photons emitted from individual ions into free spaceu. Working wavelengths of 397 nm and 493 nm correspond to dipole transitions of 40Ca and 138Ba barium ions with a natural bandwidth in the order of tens of MHz. The detailed technical specification is given in article 2, paragraph 2.2 of the tenderdocumentation.
