PrF - Vacuum components for ion trap

Contract description: The subject of the public contract is vacuum components, which will be new devices of linear quadrupole ion traps. The apparatus is intended for the production of calcium or barium ions and for their subsequent trapping and laser cooling. The interactions of individual cooled ions with optical radiation, specific properties of absorption and emission of radiation by individual spatially localized ions will be investigated, as well as the control of the motion of trapped ions and other realizations in the field of quantum communication. Ion isolation is necessary to keep the ions trapped, but also to locate the ions. To achieve conditions suitable for the experiment, it is necessary to achieve a high vacuum (in the UHV to XHV range) to reduce the likelihood of ion collisions with residual gas molecules. Another necessary condition for performing the experiments is a good optical approach for maximum detection of ion emitted photons. This is in the range of wavelengths from 397 nm to 866 nm. The subject of the public contract is, in addition to the delivery itself, also the transport of all parts of the system to the place of performance and the provision of their warranty service.
