Description:
The VŠZ Eduard building is part of the village of Nové Město, the cadastral area of Jáchymov in the Ore Mountains, in the area of the abolished Eduard mine. The facility is situated on a wooded slope on local service road, declining northwest towards the biathlon area. The training facility is located in the original building, based on a rectangular ground plan. The building is two -storey, covered with a low saddle roof truss. The basement of the building is embedded on the slope. Access to the ground floor is despite the later completion of the vestibule at the northeast gable of the building, the second basement entrance supplemented with a ramp with roofing is from the southwest gable of the building. At the beginning of this century, the interior of the training facility underwent a total reconstruction, over time repairs of floors, interior wall surfaces, replacement of fixtures, facade repair and roofing were re -carried. The building is now located accommodation rooms, common bathroom, kitchen, dining room, common rooms, ski room, utility room. The functionality of the building was ensured by building a wastewater treatment plant and a water connection. Heating is provided by central heating with electric boiler.
