• Description:
• The subject of the public contract is the 1st stage of the reconstruction of Republic Square in Pilsen. The first stage of the reconstruction includes the western side of the square, i.e. the vestibule of the Cathedral of St. Bartolomeje, a one-way road with longitudinal parking and connecting areas along the facades. The aim of this transformation is to adapt the public space to the needs of the present time with strong regard to its historical significance. The square will be worked with rainwater fed to the new tree line, the traffic regime will be changed to a pedestrian zone with restrictions on car traffic and furniture will be added. The western side of the square will undergo reconstruction in the first stage, the restoration of the remaining areas will continue in the following years. Stage I is designed in such a way that it can be logically and easily followed up on in the next stage. The only overlap between these two stages are the foundations of the new public lighting poles on the square area, which will be made including protectors for distribution according to DPS stage I. The renewal of public lighting on the square area (poles, sources, distribution) will be the subject of the following II. stages. The construction requires connection to the water supply, specifically the connection of two new sluices. The connection to the existing water supply will be made through water connections terminated with water meter shafts.
