• Description:
• Repair of the monument to František Bašného in the Brno-Kohoutovice Municipality, parc. No. 3064, c.ú. Barefoot, in the forest on the hiking trail to Barefoot. The building consists of a foundation formed by an irregular prism of quarry stone joined with cement mortar, on which stands a sandstone monobloc, also block-shaped, evoking the composition of stones. From the front side of the sandstone block, there is a frame depression for fitting an inscription plate. The building is in a very bad condition, it has undergone unprofessional and inappropriate repairs and interventions in the past. Original marble the plaque with the inscription seems to have been the target of vandalism in the past and is now replaced by a simple sign (laminated paper on an aluminum backing). The monument requires a complete professional reconstruction, including the addition of a dignified inscription plate in an adequate one material - marble. A detailed breakdown of the works is given below. The subject of the contract is: - cleaning, - biocide treatment, - revision and replenishment of sealants, - retouching, - joint repair, - production and fitting of a marble signboard (frame approx. 55x37 cm, text in black), - hydrophobization, - restoration report in printed and electronic form documenting the entire repair with ongoing photo documentation.
