Tenders are invited for Supply of Neonatal ICU Medical Equipment for the Karantina State Hospital in Beirut - Bonded Cash Donation The implementation of the project consists in the supply of: - 2 complex solutions for neonatal intensive care units. Each solution will include: 1 neonatal incubator with accessories, 1 phototherapy lamp with accessories, 1 electric hospital adjustable bed, 1 CPAP, 1 patient/newborn monitor, 1 newborn crib; - 1 newborn incubator; - 1 CPAP - 2 newborn heated beds. The recipient of this donation is the Karantina State Hospital in Beirut, which provides health care for disadvantaged Lebanese citizens and also for Syrian refugees. The hospital was completely destroyed by an explosion in Beirut Port in August 2020. The existing neonatal unit accepts premature babies from the 28th week of gestation, even for the most difficult surgical procedures for newborn patients from all over Lebanon. Due to the growth in the number of clients in connection with the long-lasting financial and economic crisis in the country, the hospital needs to expand the neonatal department and increase its capacity.
