- Description:
- One HW collection device for network security monitoring will be implemented in each of the data centers. This collection device will integrate both the collector and the sensor, which will ensure the possibility of collecting and analysis within this device. These collection devices will be deployed as a separate physicalServers, each collecting data from all relevant network points in its data center. The collection devices will be connected to individual network points via SFP ports to monitor operations. It will be possible to evaluate directly on the collection device in the web graphics interface andMonitoring network traffic.
Monitoring network points will include:
• Core LAN switch for aggregation of all network traffic between segments
• segmentation WAN switch for monitoring of the coming and outgoing from/to the InternetFirewall and NAT)
• virtual switches for monitoring traffic in virtual vmware environment
on all above network elements will be used SPAN/RSPAN ports (mirroring network traffic) for data transfer to the relevant collection device. The collection device must support this type of event collection.
AboveCollecting devices will be deployed a central system in the form of virtual appliance, which will ensure:
• long -term storage of network monitoring events
• Uniform monitoring of collection devices and their generated events
